PERMANENTLY CLOSED -- PROPERTY FOR SALE
Anderson Hill Tree Farm is a small family farm located on a rocky knob -- "Anderson Hill" -- just outside Enfield, New Hampshire. While not the best site for farming, with very shallow soil and plentiful rocks, the wide open views of Cardigan Mountain to the east, Shaker Hills to the south, and 360-degree views of the night sky makes it a very special place. We decided to try our hands at growing Christmas trees in 2012, opening for the first time or sales in 2019. This granite nob with shallow soils is a tough place to grow Christmas trees, limiting the inventory available for sale each year. THANKS TO ALL OUR CUSTOMERS AND VISITORS OVER THE PAST FOUR YEARS, BUT SORRY TO SAY THAT WE HAVE CLOSED SHOP AND IN THE PROCESS OF SELLING THE PROPERTY IN 2023-24.
No need to travel far afield in search of that perfect tree -- within 10 miles of our farm are the communities of Canaan, Enfield, Grantham, Hanover, Lebanon, Plainfield, West Lebanon, and White River Junction. And just a couple more miles for the folks from Dorchester, Grafton, Lyme, Springfield, and Thetford, A quick easy Saturday or Sunday morning jaunt to a local farm and you'll have that beautiful tree up and decorated in no time!
We have built 2 1/2 miles of trails across our 50 acres, designed by Olympian and world-renowned trail designer John Morton of Morton Trails. Three overlapping loops allow you to choose a quick and easy 3/4-mile walk, 1-mile moderate hike, or more strenuous 1.5-mile trek. Or do all three! Trails are open to you and your family while purchasing a Christmas tree.

We are closed for the season and thank everyone that visited over Thanksgiving weekend--one of the warmest we have seen--helping us achieve our goal of making a significant contribution to the Upper Valley Haven. It was a bittersweet season for us because 2022 was the final year of Christmas tree sales for Anderson Hill Tree Farm. We will be selling the farm and moving to South Carolina in the fall of 2023. Thanks for the memories! Tim & Bev Cooney
